Technical Manager - Personal Healthcare Job in Berkshire

Our client is a multi-billion dollar consumer healthcare giant, based in Reading. 


As a technical manager your responsibilities will be to initiate and lead technical projects for global OTC (over the counter) and Food Supplement brands within the P&G PHC (Personal Health Care) portfolio at external manufacturers and / or internal plants.


Projects will be a mixture of new initiatives and changes that are required to drive compliance, cost savings, improvements or for supply assurance reasons.  As the key technical contact between the project team and the internal or external manufacturer you will be expected to ensure all supply, quality and regulatory aspects are managed enabling projects to be planned and executed with excellence.  Strong collaboration across functions within P&G and more broadly with external partners will be essential to succeed.






  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or packaging processes.
  • Advanced skills in critical appraisal of data.
  • Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities across multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.



  • Scientific background such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, Life Sciences etc.
  • Experience of qualifying raw and pack material / consumer goods products.
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
