Supply Chain Lead in Suffolk
You will be leading and executing the Supply Chain processes for the Contract Development and Manufacturing Operations (CDMO) portfolio. You will drive the master production plan for specific product campaigns to satisfy customer demand considering resource, capacity and inventory for raw materials and packaging within the CDMO Autonomous Production Unit (APU). Some duties may vary but you will be responsible for interpreting customer demand and driving this plan to meet customer promise dates. This is a 12 month contract role.
-To take the lead as the Supply Chain expert within the APU, providing overall direction for the MPS/MRP processes and to actively look at continuous improvement for the associated planning parameters.
-To support the S&OP/MPS processes to ensure timely and accurate information available for the meetings.
-Analyse complex data and work closely with the APU to identify areas of risk, applying own professional knowledge to make appropriate recommendations and to ensure successful implementation
-To have detailed understanding of cGMP and relevant regulations and legislation for clinical suppliers related to the Supply Chain Function and APU
-To maintain the Master Production schedule across all relevant time horizons, including short term and medium to long term
-To constantly review the plan to maintain its validity and stability – monitor day to day changes and report the effects these changes may have on overall plan. To make changes accordingly and communicate to the relevant parties
-To ensure all raw materials and packaging are accurately scheduled and liaise with Purchasing to ensure the supply is on time and to react quickly and effectively to sub-standard or late deliveries
-To manage inventory for raw materials and packaging – these include system planning parameters
-To represent Master data, Purchasing and Warehouse Operations as part of the core APU. To Liaise with the appropriate teams to ensure the requirements of each are understood and executed on time
-Experience with Supply Chain Management and/or Clinical Supply
-Ability to lead, motivate and influence
-Strong problem solving skills
-Has, or working towards, a professional Supply Chain or Business qualification
-Experience in an ERP system (SAP/Athena)
-Educated to A level or equivalent
