What we require
We are seeking an ambitious graduate to join our Midlands based team to help drive forward our expansion plans.
You will get to work closely with our qualified and experienced consultants who will train and guide you in the world of recruiting, you will eventually build up your own client list and work solely on those accounts.
You must have the ability to confidently speak on the phone, be professional, and have good communication skills in general.
You will need to have good organisational skills as you will be managing your own workload and admin duties.
You will need to have a positive attitude towards new challenges, recruitment can be a fast-paced industry with constant changes.
You will preferably be educated to degree level; we welcome applications from all subject fields.
Previous experience in a sales type role is not essential, as full training will be provided.
You will work within our small team of Consultants, working on roles which can be based anywhere across the UK. You’ll spend a lot of time communicating with clients and candidates via telephone, email, and social networks. Your role will include the full spectrum of recruitment, from initially drafting job advertisements, to researching clients and specific roles, sourcing candidates and shortlisting based on their skills and qualifications, and also organising interviews and assessments. You will manage your own workload and be responsible for your own admin and back-office tasks, which includes issuing paperwork, completing candidate onboarding and ‘Right to Work’ checks, and liaising regularly with our payroll team.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work on business development projects, where you can gain specialist knowledge on marketing strategies and build your own personal brand.
You will be mentored by our experienced staff and given the tools to tailor your recruitment style and build your confidence. The clients and roles that you will work on will vary considerably, giving you a breath of experience in multiple industry sectors.
You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of experiences, enhancing your personal and technical skills.
Starting salary is £19,500, increasing to £20,000 after probation; with regular salary reviews thereafter based on performance and sales figures.
We also offer uncapped obtainable commission on sales.
You will receive 1 to 1 mentoring with some of the most experienced recruiters in the business, and support to complete professional qualifications.
Our office is located in Tamworth town centre, with plenty of shops & cafes on our doorstop, and easy access to Train and Bus connections.
We work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, 36.25 hrs per week. No late nights, early starts, or weekend work!
