Our client requires a National Accounts Manager.  Working in the Technical and Service Solutions industry, the successful candidate will report to the National Sales Manager and will be responsible for maximising sales through service contracts and capital sales.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop existing customer relationships
  • Expand the range and number of customers withinin the FM Hard Services sector
  • Increase sales and profits by generating new business
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of sector based strategies, to help grow the company
  • Produce effective plans and budgets and provide analytical reports
  • Support implementation and development of sales planning
  • Support the commercial management of tender management
  • Produce quotations as required
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Manage sales process
  • Maintain effective working relationships

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • Sales experience in both products and service industry of leading sales negotiations
  • Understanding of rotating and mechanical equipment, such as pumps
  • Knowledge and evidence of facilities management
  • Experience in technical engineering or the service delivery business
  • Ability to demonstrate to meet and exceed targets
  • Ability to manage key accounts and close sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the company and team
  • Numerate
  • Flexibility regarding working hours
  • Full driving licence

Desirable:

  • Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent)
  • Management qualification
  • Experience of the sales process
