IT Systems Manager in Staffordshire
Our client is a fast-growing Technical Service Solutions business that specialises in industrial air systems. The core business is a solutions provider to a broad range of customers providing service, capital installations, maintenance regimes, parts and hire. A well-established business, the company has grown successfully both organically and via acquisition over the last 10 years. Due to continued success and expansion, they are now seeking a qualified and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join their team as IT Manager.
In this key role you will manage and maintain all IT aspects of the business including hardware, software, data, security, reporting and contractors, utilising all tools available.
Provide remote support to users and coordinating with external support providers. Maintain systems at all company offices. Management of IT budget including supplier contracts and relationships.
Oversee the day to day operations and maintenance of the domain, server hardware and systems including MS Hyper-V Server cluster containing 30+ virtual machines and MS Dynamics AX ERP environment.
Maintain network security systems and policies including Data Protection and User Access. Educate users on best practice for cyber security.
Design and build of reports for departments as required. Housekeeping of SQL database and development of software and add-on’s.
You will also be required to:
Provide staff training as needed,
Document processes in accordance with ISO Quality Management requirements,
Provide out of hours IT support to the business in emergencies.
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator / Manager with a strong background in the management and maintenance of a variety of software, hardware, networks, Internet connections, security and data. In particular experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP systems is essential, and knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V Servers would be an advantage.
You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable coordinating and working with external IT support providers to ensure seamless end user support across the business.
