Job Title: Internal Sales, Imports and Exports

Location: Tamworth B78

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.15pm, 36.25 hours per week

Salary: up to £25,000 depending on experience

Our client has been successfully offering high quality Freight service to the UK Forwarding industry; both LCL and FCL for many years. Continued investment and commitment to quality personnel has allowed them to provide comprehensive solutions to a wide variety of customers. A range of services is offered from small consignments to full containers, also out of gauge cargo, imports, and exports.

Role:

• Quoting clients for LCL imports and exports and FCL import
• Developing and following up quotes using internal systems
• Developing a sales pipeline
• Developing extension business from existing clients
• Following and developing leads from overseas partners

Candidate:

• Should have at least one year’s experience in ocean freight
• Having knowledge of LCL pricing structures would be advantageous
• Should be commercially minded
• Should have excellent knowledge of MS packages, in particular Excel
• Should have excellent planning, organisational and time-management skills
• Should have effective communication skills both written and verbally
