Inside Sales Representative - Scientific Equipment in Leicestershire

Our client is a scientific equipment manufacturer specialising in metrology instrumentation for the environmental sector. Due to continued growth and expansion they are now seeking an Inside Sales Rep to join their busy Sales and Marketing Team.
Respond to website and phones sales inquiries and generate basic sales quotes.
Distribute phone calls incoming on the sales line to relevant sales engineer.
Manage the sales email inbox, triage enquiries and allocate to the relevant technical sales engineer.
Initiates cold calls to sales leads received from marketing and sales campaigns.
Maintenance of the price list and distribution to customer and sales engineers.
Communication of pricing issues/changes to relevant customers, purchasing from the price list.
Provide customers with quotes for spare parts, or straight forward off the shelf items.
Work with marketing and sales colleagues to create and develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Assist sales engineers in arranging internal, or external customer visits, including logistics, travel arrangements etc.
Work with sales and marketing to facilitate arrangement of internal events, such as workshops, customer/reseller conferences etc.
Maintenance/update of CRM, as required, in conjunction with sales engineers.
Administration to ensure that invoicing is completed accurately.
Technology or science based degree preferred but not essential, or equivalent level of experience gained in a technology company.
Commercial experience in sales or sales administration, ideally in a technical environment.
Strong customer focus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well organised and shows good attention to detail.
Full Driving Licence.
