HR & Training Administrator Job in Staffordshire
Position: HR and Training Administrator
Permanent Location: Burntwood
Salary: £23,000 - £24,000 depending on experience, and other benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week (8am – 5pm)
Our client requires a HR and Training Administrator to provide accurate and detailed HR, training, and administration support. Also, the role will include responding to HR queries and to act as a point of contact for our internal team and working closely with and supporting the Head of HR with the function. You must have an interest and/or a qualification in HR/Training/Audits who is highly organised, efficient and a strong communicator who will be happy solving the diverse range of problems and queries that will come your way.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide administration support to the HR team, including resourcing, employee development, reward, employee relations and core P & D processes
- Assist with recruitment, including all processes such as job descriptions and Person specifications; participation in interviews; making offers and negotiating salaries
- Support the booking of training courses, updating training files, updating records
- Support Employee relations
- Support the management of engineering passes
- To support all company drivers with vehicle issues, hires, insurance and accident reporting
- Support with audits, including paperwork and preparation
- Support with Covid procedures as required
- Act as a Sentinel coordinator to ensure access is granted and monitored
- General ad hoc Admin duties, including reception duties
Essential Candidate Requirements:
- good standard of education, including A-Level or equivalent
- Up to date with employment law legislation and current changes
- CIPD Level III/HRD qualification/ Audit experience
- Excellent MS Application skills, including Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Understanding of employment contracts
- Good understanding and ability to use Social Media
- Knowledge of Project management; time management; person administration and payroll administration
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent planning skills; able to multi-task
- Good team player
- Clean driving licence- as some trave between sites may be needed
Desirable :
- HR or Business Management degree
- Project Management training
- Payroll and Pension administration
- ISO internal auditor qualification
