Food Product Technologist in Gloucestershire
The role is with the product innovation group within the Food Manufacturing Technologies department. This team has a responsibility through contract and strategic R&D to support innovation in food products across a broad range of food processing technologies and product categories. The work spans through the entire new product development chain through concept through kitchen and pilot plant trials to commissioning and implementation in production. They aim to enhance further the support for equipment suppliers to the food industry and support for the plant engineers that are looking to improve the hygienic performance of equipment and facilities.
A degree in Food Science and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology or equivalent. Industrial experience with meat, pet food or other appropriate environments would be an advantage. A full UK/EU driving licence is required.
