Environmental Laboratory Assistant Job in Berkshire

Environmental Laboratory Assistant  – Caversham, Reading.

The role involves assisting in the disassembling, cleaning, and maintenance of a wide range of water quality monitoring equipment. In addition, you will assist in the operation of our quality system. This is an ongoing temporary position. This is a great opportunity to learn more about environmental monitoring equipment. We are looking to get people started ASAP. All training will be provided; however some existing science related experience is essential.

Seeking candidates with an interest in water quality and environmental science. Excellent opportunity for a recent graduate of University or A-levels, looking for long term commitment to the role.

Requirements
-Scientific qualifications (A Level and/or Degree)
-Problem Solver
-Dexterity
-Able to commute to Caversham

Preferable but not essential

-Laboratory or workshop experience

*Working hours 7:30am-3:30pm (to help avoid the traffic)

*Successful candidate must complete a DBS check which costs £18
