There is a requirement for carrying out investigations of UK in-service assets through modelling and simulation using specialist tools to asses and mitigate risk. This is used to support project delivery under the Counter Terrorism and Security Division. These investigations involve electro-thermal and thermal-mechanical modelling of a range of devices made up of different components and constructions. The Modelling will be conducted in ANSYS Mechanical Enterprise and will provide insights into the breadth of the postulated effect and understand the parameter sensitivity.
