Data Analytics Scientist in Darlington
To interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques including multivariate approaches, turning raw data into information. Discovery of trends or patterns in complex data sets.
To lead new existing statistical methodology and also assist with improving process development.
To develop and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that
optimize efficiency and quality, to ensure clear outcome of any analysis performed.
To provide technical expertise to implement Process Analytical Technology methods
(including equipment, methods, model and data structure requirements).
Use knowledge of advanced monitoring and control strategies and multivariate modelling, to gain an understanding of process performance and product characteristics.
Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in mathematics, engineering, computer science or biological sciences, or possess equivalent experience in a relevant scientific discipline.
Further specialised MSc or PhD in data analytics or multivariate statistics (or in relevant field).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant
amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Will have significant, demonstrated, technical expertise in Matlab, PLS toolbox, Unscrambler X, DesignExpert or equivalent packages.
Working knowledge and broad experience of IT packages, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
