Customer Service Advisor - Environmental Science Job in Devon and Cornwall
Hybrid, home working and office based. . Must live a commutable distance from Starcross, Exeter.
Temporary post, initially until March 2024
Full Time, £13.02 per hour.
Monitoring Laboratories provide chemical and microbiological analytical services. Within this they provide a Helpdesk service that handles all incoming and outgoing queries between Monitoring Laboratories and the wider organisation.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to their customers/colleagues who rely on their service to deliver National monitoring programmes, pollution responses and projects to find environmental solutions.
The role will hybrid with home working and office based mix.
You will be one of seven Customer Service Advisors supported by two Key Account Managers, responsible for ensuring that we understand the customers' needs and deliver a service that meets their requirements within agreed key performance indicators.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and customer focus. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities are essential.
Evidence of an interest in science/environmental science is required.
Prior experience in customer services and/or analytical sciences would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
The Customer Service Advisor role is a fantastic stepping stone into this company and Monitoring Laboratories as you will learn about a wide range of analytical processes and operations within the wider organisation. Monitoring Laboratories are in a period of growth as our services are in demand to deliver new and exciting monitoring programmes.
Successful candidate must undergo a BPSS check including a DBS which costs £18.
