Analytical Chemist in Surrey
Due to location you will require your own car.
Our client offers a wide range of analytical laboratory techniques for testing wines and spirits. Many types of samples are analysed, based on their need for either quality assurance, to aid fermentation monitoring (alcoholic or malolactic), for PDO/PGI status or to ensure the declared ABV is correct.
These samples may be tested using a wide range of procedures, from standard wet chemistry analysis to instrumental techniques such as HPLC, GC or AAS analysis.
The ideal candidate would have a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject, OR experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory. An understanding of standard wet chemical analysis, liquid and gas chromatography would be an advantage.
