Graduate Chemistry Laboratory Technician in Leicestershire

Graduate Laboratory Technician – Chemistry

Minimum 2i Level Degree.

Leicestershire

£17k - £19k

 

To carry out, under supervision, a range of laboratory based projects for the Research & Development team.  Career progression is available, to become a Development Chemist

Main Responsibilities

To assist the Research & Development chemists in the development of new products ie formulation and testing.

To maintain and update new product development progress spreadsheet

To assist QA inspectors in entering test data into various QA databases.

To assist chemist/technicians in samples request documentation and labelling.

To manage development of own projects as directed.

To assist the Research & Development team in the day-to-day running of the laboratory.

To monitor the supply of consumables and raw materials used in the R&D laboratory.

To work in accordance with the Company’s quality system and update the computer data as applicable.

To continually maintain and promote good housekeeping standards.

To adhere to the Company’s rules and regulations.

To be as flexible as possible and carry out any other duties within the department which may be required.

Candidate:

Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or Applied Chemistry.

We will not be looking for candidates to relocate for this role.

Ideally you will have your own transport and be available immediately.
