| Research Assistant Virology – Kent – Veterinary Medicines Maternity cover contract – 12 months. Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company with R&D laboratories in Kent. They are seeking an experience Biologist to join their Veterinary Medicines R&D group as a Research Assistant. Duties will include: Analysis on clinical samples using ELISA. Virus neutralisation and virus titration. Analysis of data from CROs / clinical studies. Co-ordination of clinical studies with CROs Management of laboratory notebooks and documentation. Ensuring compliance within the lab to GCP and GLP standards. Skills and Experience: Degree in Biology or related subject. Two years experience working within a CRO or pharmaceutical laboratory involved with clinical studies. Thorough understanding of GCP and GLP requirements. Hands on experience with ELISA. Background in virology / handling of viruses. Experience with a range of laboratory techniques relevant to Virology / Immunology an advantage. Able to live and work in East Kent for one year.
