Product Development and Regulatory Executive BristolCompetitve + benefits The Company Our client is a consultancy business offering specialist services in product development and regulatory affairs to companies in the pharmaceutical industry. It specialises in assisting companies to obtain marketing authorisations for their products throughout the European Union and is a leading regulatory affairs consultancy dealing with veterinary medicinal products. Most of the client companies are based outside the United Kingdom and come to our client for its specialist knowledge of regulatory requirements in the European Union. The company consists of a team of twelve scientists, highly qualified in a wide range of chemical, biological and veterinary medical disciplines. The job A vacancy exists for the post of Product Development and Regulatory Executive. Reporting to the Clinical and Safety Projects Manager the job is a high profile role responsible for the following: · Providing strategic advice to client companies in the field of veterinary pharmaceutical development and regulatory affairs with respect to safety and clinical studies.· Managing development projects in contract research facilities on behalf of client companies.· Writing of registration dossiers concerning pharmacological, preclinical and clinical data according to legislative requirements of the European Union.· Preparing expert summary documents according to European Union regulatory requirements.· Liaising with client companies and European regulatory authorities in the progression of the scientific components of regulatory projects. You will have · Qualification in Veterinary Medicine or PhD in biological discipline.· At least 3 years experience in veterinary pharmaceutical development or safety and clinical regulatory affairs, including dealing with safety and efficacy studies in target animal species. · Excellent analytical and writing, communication and negotiation skills.· Perfect command of English.· The right to reside and work in the United Kingdom and be willing to relocate to Bristol.· Most importantly, the ability to contribute to the functioning of a close-knit, working team.
